TAGOLWANEN WOMEN WEAVERS ASSOCIATION

The Tagolwanen Women Weavers Association, Inc. (or TWWA) was formed to promote the Tagolwanen tradition of weaving, as well as the customs and traditions that surround it.

With modern living, the use of this traditional skill steadily declined. TWWA aimed to help lay out the context for traditional weaving to be easily included in daily life.

The association encourages the tribe women to recognize value in their own efforts working from home, that home chores and income-earning work such as weaving have considerable impact that benefit the family. TWWA also aims for its members to recognize their capability to create beautiful art and construct other items through weaving.
By recognizing the weavers’ contribution to the home, the Tagolwanen Women Weavers’ Association aims to empower the women’s self-determination and be equal partners in

  • community building
  • active preservation and passing on of traditional culture
  • environmental preservation

The association also prioritizes that indigenous knowledge and the traditional weaving skills be passed to the young. When weaving is part of life, the next generation automatically picks up a traditional skill. The Tagolwanen Women Weavers’ Association actively teaches their youth to appreciate and continue the tradition of banig-making.

DELTA BUSINESS VENTURES

DELTA Business Ventures was started in 2016 by a wheelchair-bound entrepreneur, Loloy C. Diango, and his family after deciding that it was time to share their hometown's heirloom and iconic delicacy - cookies - to a lot more people the whole year round.

The Diango family lives in the rustic town of Aloran, in northwestern Mindanao, which has long been popularly known for its delicious homemade cookies which are served only during its annual fiesta celebration and during a few other occasions or gatherings.

The family felt that the delicacy was worth sharing with those who love to indulge in artisan Filipino food; they wanted to make it available to more people throughout the year and not only during a few occasions.

And so was born the company's very first brand, Cookies Supreme, with its signature product: the Aloran Heritage Cookies.

DELTA Business Ventures aims to become a recognized manufacturer of premium quality, irresistibly delicious Filipino delicacies in the domestic market primarily through its store brand, The Funsalubong Factory, as well as in the international snack market.

Its products are made from the finest ingredients using food-grade equipment and government-approved procedures, all guaranteed to give its valued customers that uniquely delicious flavor they have been widely known for.

FIRE STAR DREAM CONCOCTIONS

SUCRE HOUSE OF CONCOCTIONS

SEABETH CORPORATION

Initially, the idea of processing and making Cacao budded out from the need to release and channel the stress and exhaustion from the typical daily routine of a dental professional. It was also a favorite past time of my beloved late father, Francisco Tankiko, who inspired me to pursue this passion. It was not until the latter half of 2017 that my husband and I welcomed the thought of developing this idea from a simple hobby into a long-term investment for our retirement.

I then decided to make the necessary changes in further developing my product from its taste up to its external qualities. I also started exploring the nutritional benefits that come along with the product. Eventually, I began joining bazaars, trade exhibits and also won an award. Along with the help of food processing organizations, I expanded my product’s capacities in becoming what it is today- purposeful and prismatic.
